No Open Ended Questions for R&S or Voice?

According to a post on Networking Forum Cisco is doing away with the OEQs. No idea if this is definitely happening, or when they will announce it if so, but I’m definitely relieved if it’s true. I was dreading the OEQs.
Let’s all hope it’s true!
Obviously it will be one less precaution to stop cheating, but I think it’s also a hindrance to those who do not cheat. I believe with the Troubleshooting and Configuration sections, the CCIE Lab exam is difficult enough.
What do you guys think?

Highlight for answer:
PIM is “Protocol Independent Multicast”. Its two modes are Dense and Sparse. Dense mode is a pudh model, while Sparse Mode is a pull model.

What are ISL and 802.1q, and how do they differ?

Highlight for answer:
These are both VLAN trunking protocols. ISL is a Cisco proprietary protocol, while 802.1q is an IEEE standard. ISL encapsulates the entire frame and has no “Native VLAN”.
